The mission of New Teacher Support Center is to increase teacher retention by creating a safe, supportive, and convenient path for new teachers to receive professional development in their first few years of teaching.
We provide virtual instructional coaching and professional development services that develop those areas that will increase and expedite new teacher capacity and student performance.
Why we do this:
New teachers are required to perform the same duties as experienced teachers, but often without adequate or continuous support. As a result, many leave the profession within the first few years. Those that do stay usually struggle greatly, which negatively impacts student success. We support districts and schools in retaining new teachers by providing them one-on-one virtual instructional support that can be accessed at their convenience.

I founded New Teacher Support Center in 2016 in an effort to address the increasing problem of teacher retention and attrition in our country. Due to many competing responsibilities and external factors, schools are finding it more difficult to provide timely and sustainable support to teachers. New Teacher Support Center has been successfully providing school districts with virtual instructional coaching and virtual professional development services since 2016. In response to the global pandemic, we wanted to do our part. Typically we provide services directly to school districts. However, we know that there are so many teachers out there desperately trying to figure out this new normal on their own. That's why we've decided to make some of our services directly available for teachers to purchase individually. Now anyone can have access to individualized PD, such as skill-based online courses and virtual instructional coaching. Teachers interested in purchasing services can do so at affordable rates.
