What you'll bring to NTSC:

 

  • Robust content and pedagogical knowledge/experience across a variety of grade levels.
  • Solid track record of behavior management and student academic success.
  • A “No Excuses” attitude! You are persistently reflective about your own practice, actively seeking feedback and professional development opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills. All verbal and written interactions will be clear, concise, and grammatically correct.
  • A collaborative, self-directed, and diligent team player that is willing to uplift others, share, and grow. 

 

You definitely have:

 

  • 10+ years teaching and/or coaching in a K-12 environment; experience in an urban school setting is a plus.
  • A solid skillset comprised of research-based practices in the major content areas (ELA, History, Math, Science, ELL, & Special Ed).
  • Experience facilitating (virtually and in-person) engaging and purposeful professional development workshops.
  • Advanced proficiency in virtual platforms and vast knowledge of online tools and apps that enhance practices.
  • Integrity, zero tolerance for racial or cultural bias, and a commitment to serve all students.
